I look upon the whole of mankind's makings and marvel at what it is. We send our creations out into the universe and look back at ourselves only to see how insignificant we truly are. Are our gods not subject to the same?
We are suspended in the ephemeral cradle of creation only to know there is so much more to see. Are we fated to forever think that we are alone and that our puny gods are our only companions? I for one refuse to believe it.
Creation is an act of will and we have willed to life a host of beings that we bow, kowtow and sacrifice to with nothing in return but sadness, death and slavery. If this is all our gods give us then I for one wish for their demise.
When we see injustice in ourselves we try to change it and to make ourselves better. When seen in our gods we only ask that our eyes be open to the truth yet do not question nor demand the answers that we think we need. We pour over texts that were written by dead men so long ago that their names are lost in the dust only to find confusion and more questions than answers within.
When men of reason finally convince their fellows to let go of dead ideas and embrace logic we will then see a true evolution of mankind toward the divine that is us. - Bill.
